When NYC Sweet Home’s founder, relocated to New York in 2013, she was amazed at how few short-term rental options there were. The homes on offer were far from ideal and not at all geared towards someone in her position; a female traveler who settled in America with a suitcase full of ambitions. Her keen sense of opportunity and everlasting determination led to her refurbishing two entire floors of a derelict apartment building in the heart of New York. All by herself. Two years later she expanded to even more apartment buildings and a long personal journey with short-term stay rentals led to the birth of NYC Sweet Home – an agency that is focused on the specific needs of short-term stay guests.
